The Sea Turtles had another great week at school! We finished our painting and tissue paper sea turtle art project and they all turned out great! The kids love looking for theirs on the bulletin board! The kids also drew self-portraits and they did a magnificent job. Each child spent time looking in the mirror and talking about the different shapes and colors of their faces. The end result was amazing as all of their self portraits are detailed and beautiful. Our class had our first share day and it went very well. The children were respectful of each other and loved sharing their item brought from home. School is a fun and exciting place, the Sea Turtles love engaging in learning activities inside and outside the classroom. Painting, bowling, and exploring with shaving cream in the courtyard were highlights. We also celebrated Cash's 4th birthday on Friday! The kids loved making crowns in honor of Cash and eating delicious cupcakes (thanks Susan)! Next week we will be practicing name writing, color identification and letters in our names!
